Piedmont Park Music Festival 1970

An 8mm home movie filmed during the Summer of 1970 in Piedmont Park, Atlanta, Georgia. Free concerts featuring local bands were held in the park almost every weekend during the Summer months for several years in the late 1960s and early 1970s and all-day festivals were occasionally held. This video documents a portion of one of those festivals that I had the pleasure to attend and, hopefully, captures the ‘flavor’ of the time period.
