Roswell Athletics would like to welcome Coach Kayleigh Briant as the new Head Softball Coach at Roswell High School. Coach Briant has been a very valuable asset to the program over the last few years as an assistant coach and when the position became available she made the easy transition into the head coaching role.
Briant is no stranger to the game of softball, she has been a part of the game since the age of 6 years old. Over the years, she played ASA Gold level softball with some of the most competitive travel teams in Atlanta. She graduated with honors from Hiram High School where she was a 4-year letter winner, earned 1st Team All Region as a sophomore, junior, and senior, and named MVP her senior year. She went on to play softball at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. While there she made history, hitting for the cycle, the first in CSU softball program history. Briant finished her education at Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education. She earned a master’s degree in Health and Wellness Education from the American College of Education.
Coach Briant has given private hitting, fielding, and catching lessons for many years. She has been the assistant softball coach at Roswell for the past 2 seasons.
Briant is the daughter of Alyson and Michael Briant of Kennesaw. She lives in Woodstock with her Labradoodle Demi.
