My Top 10 Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without Heading Into 2022

[ad_1]

This was my NYE look as I cheered on my beloved Georgia Bulldogs with champagne and an Orange Bowl WIN!

If you’re reading this, we have MADE IT to yet another YEAR and I am thankful for that! SO CHEERS + HAPPY 2022 MY FRIENDS!

It’s been a minute since my last blog post (over 2 months, yikes!) and so I figured what better way to kick off and embrace a brand new year, than with a RECAP of my most loved and used beauty products of 2021! They’re all SO amazing, that I will no doubt continue repurchasing ALL of these into 2022.

Of course, beauty + skincare products are specific to us as individuals and what’s great for one might not be for another.

BUT if you’ve been following me for a while on my blog here, or on Instagram or YouTube, you must enjoy experimenting with new products and formulas like I do (that are never super expensive!). Also being over 40+ and a mom, we could all use some friendly advice on what works for us more mature gals!

So I made a short VIDEO for you breaking down these TOP 10 products.  Feel free to watch it and hear my personal thoughts on each product and WHY I think they’re just so darn wonderful and effective.

(But if you’re more of a scroll and read gal, I get it, and just keep scrolling to quickly see each of my recommendations!) Alright let’s get to it shall we?!

#1 PAULA’S CHOICE BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT

She needs no introduction. I’ve used this liquid skin exfoliant for YEARS and it continues to make my personal best of list. If you want smoother, clearer skin, with smaller pores, look no further. Get this product NOW!

#2 NO7 RADIANCE EXFOLIATING CLEANSER

Clearly I have a thing for exfoliating skincare but hey, I like smooth skin! I keep this in my shower and use it daily. Its citrus smell wakes me up, cleanses my face thoroughly without drying it out, and has gentle exfoliating properties.

#3 EYELASH + BROW GROWTH SERUM

After 3 weeks of consistent use EVERY night and morning, my lashes started growing like WEEDS!! No irritation for me and super inexpensive compared to other lash growth serums. Seriously a miracle product. Next up, I’m trying on my sparse brows!

#4 MORPHE MICRO BROW PENCILS

I have to fill in my brows no matter what and I always come back to these affordable pencils that are a fantastic cheap dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencils! Watch the video to see what shades I personally use.

#5 L’OREAL TINTED HYALURONIC TINTED SERUM FOUNDATION

It’s a foundation for those that hate the makeup feel! I have already bought 4 bottles of this stuff – it makes skin look like skin and never feels heavy. Disclaimer – I have super dry skin and have to make sure I have on my thickest moisturizer before putting this on bc of some alcohol content which can dry skin out a bit just FYI. But it’s worth it 😉

#6 ELF 16 HR CAMO CONCEALER + LANCOME TIENT IDOLE  CONCEALER

I had to share my drugstore AND my prestige fave concealers for ya’ll. Being over 40, I don’t walk around anywhere without concealer and these were the 2 I reached for the most over the past year. They do the trick ladies!!

#7  IT COSMETICS YOUR MOST BEAUTIFUL YOU CHEEK TRIO

If you enjoy wearing all 3 – blush, bronzer, and highlighter, this is the palette to grab for convenience. I wear it ALL THE TIME. You can’t beat the matte bronzer with no orange, the perfect blush shade (better than Nars Orgasm IMO) and a highlighter that shimmers not glittery!

#8 ESSENCE LASH PRINCESS FALSE LASH EFFECT MASCARA

It’s only $5 but I’d pay $20 for it. Luckily I don’t have to. It’s awesome, I dare you not to give it a try – you’ll be shocked at the amount of lashes it gives you for so cheap!! Tell your friends about it.

#9 MAYBELLINE LIFTER GLOSSES

The glossiest, most comfortable, non-sticky, hydrating glosses you’ll try. And cheap, so you can try out a bunch of colors and own one to wear with every outfit! Personal fave shades are Petal and Silk!

#10 TARTE TARTLETTE PALETTE

Need a really good and wearable eyeshadow palette? Try this one. Super pretty neutral shades that are all matte and a bit on the cool side, so anybody can pull them off. I can’t tell you how often I wear this palette, and the pigments are soft and buttery and easy to apply!

Honorable Mentions : Best Setting Powder is THIS ONE (duh!) and my cute readers I wear now as a necessity AND as an accessory are my PEEPERS HERE.

I would love to know if you’ve tried any of my recommendations or plan on trying one! Sound off in the comments!
