Cotton-headed painting process time-lapse

In this video, I paint in my studio with my baby boy. This painting is made on the basis of plant elements with the addition of associations, abstract solutions, and homage to Georgia O’keeffe’s intuitive repetitions of some lines and spots that interested me. The work is painted on the reverse side of the canvas to repeat and betray the feeling of resistance, roughness, and rudeness. The way the soft brush is erased when painting on the back of the canvas seems to me a metaphor for trauma, the victim of redemption.
