I haven’t been this impressed by a drugstore beauty product in a looong time!!!
If you haven’t heard the buzz surrounding L’Oreal’s latest makeup/skincare hybrid, well let me have the pleasure of introducing it to you! Their True Match Tinted Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, is truly one of the BEST under $20 products I’ve purchased in a long time.
Watch this YouTube video I made sharing my thoughts on this innovative product and then keep reading for more…
So what exactly is this product?? Is it skincare or is it Makeup?? According to L’Oreals website it is described as…
The 1st tinted serum with 1 percent Hyaluronic Acid. Instantly skin looks brighter, even, & feels hydrated. Our tinted serum is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, which is known to give skin a hydrated and smooth feel over time. Luminous mineral pigments which provide lightweight coverage and brighten complexion. It is available in 10 nude, radiant shades which blend to match a variety of skin tones.
Shop it at the following retailers:
Target, $14.99 // Ulta, $19 // Amazon, between $14-$19 (depending on the shade)
How you know a product is JUST THAT GOOD, is the fact it sells out EVERYwhere…often! It’s been a bit hard to find some of the lighter shades and for good reason – it’s AWESOME. That’s why I have linked it several places above to make sure you have the chance to get your best shade.
In the video I showed you that I wore the shade medium 4-5 and I have been able to contour with the darker shade 5-6. But as we get further into the season of cooler temps, I am finding myself looking paler so the medium is now as dark as I can go. I might even need to step down to the 3-4 light medium.
How I apply it : Since it’s considered a serum, it definitely can be applied with your fingers! But y’all know I don’t love using my fingers for anything that is even remotely like makeup, so I have been using my favorite Anisa Beauty All Over Skincare brush.
What it looks like on: I swear it looks like my skin, just better and more blurred. I’ve honestly never tried anything like this. It would be a great option for someone that hates the feel of foundation, but needs some sort of coverage to even out their skin tone. It sinks into the skin beautifully and doesn’t look like makeup.
Will you try this popular tinted serum now that you know more about it?? I’d love to know!
